Report Editor
AutoCAD plug-in
Tank analysis

Generate great deliverables: customize your reports at your will or benefit from pre-defined templates. Move images, add a snapshot of your scene with labels and data tables and export it in 2D or 3D PDF.
Interface: 2018 version

Enhance your workflows and improve your productivity thanks to the 3DReshaper plug-in for AutoCAD. Save time by sending your data directly from one software to another like in this video where a road is designed with both solutions.
Interface: 2017 MR1 version

Thanks to the Tank Plug-in, 3DReshaper offers you a complete workflow to run a tank analysis and check plumbness, shape, verticality, circularity, settlements, and much more. The workflow has been designed according to API 650/653 but can be customised in order to answer particular needs.
Interface: 2016 MR1 version

3D meshing & texture
DTM & contour lines
Concrete floor analysis

With 3DReshaper you can create very accurate 3D meshes from point clouds. This video shows you the workflow to create the perfect 3D model of this monument, scanned in Italy (by the Italian Leica Geosystems team). At the end, you can see how to apply a picture on the mesh to get a realistic rendering for this model.
Interface: 2015 MR1 version

Create a Digital Terrain Model and Contour Lines with 3DReshaper 2015 MR1. Find automatically the ground from the non filtered point cloud, compute contour lines according to your needs and export them as a DXF file (data coming from Leica Geosystems).
Interface: 2015 MR1 version

A video to illustrate the new Surface Analysis module available in 3DReshaper 2015 MR1. This module (included in the Surveying plug-in) contains three new features to analyse slope, flatness and levelness on point clouds or meshes.

Stockpile volume
Building extractor (2)
Building extractor (1)

How to compute stockpile volume with 3DReshaper on data coming from a Leica Geosystems UAV (Aibot X6).
Interface: 2015 version

Create light and simple 3D models of buildings (a church in this video) by extracting planar areas directly on a point cloud. Data coming from a Leica Geosystems UAV (Aibot X6).
Interface: 2015 version

Since the 2015 version, 3DReshaper includes a new feature in order to create very light building models directly from the point cloud. Extract all planar parts from the point cloud to create a simplified mesh. Apply constraints to have vertical or horizontal planes, extract edges, etc. Then you can export the result as a DXF file (or another format), texture the mesh to add details, etc.
Interface: 2015 version

Inspection
Massive breaking lines extraction
Automatic texturing

3D comparaison between a scan and a model of a dam. All the points from the scan are projected on the mesh in order to determine 3D deviation and to create a color mapping. Customizable reports can be exported in order to deliver a complete analysis.
Interface: 2014 MR1 version

In the surveying plug-in, the command "Extract Breaking Lines" allows you to find all the breaking lines from a mesh. Thanks to this function, you will have for example all the crest and ravine lines on your Digital Terrain Model. You just have to define the global aspect of the mesh (smoothed or noisy) to compute the lines. The extraction is then completely automatic. All the lines can be improved directly inside the command in order to save time.
Interface: 2014 MR1 version

Leica Nova Multistation MS50 takes a lot of photos while scanning, and thanks to 3DReshaper and the Texture Mapping module, you can easily and automatically apply all the pictures on a 3D Mesh.

Tunneling
Ground extractor
Create video

This video presents the updated functions dedicated to tunneling applications provided by the 3DReshaper Surveying plug-in. From a created, extracted or imported reference model, compute the neutral axis, extrude a theoretical sections, compute cross sections along the neutral axis, make 3D comparison, display, export the profiles in 3D or 2D for the selected sections; compute the volume, unroll the 3D tubular shapes...
Interface: 2014 MR1 version

Creating the model of a terrain is a very common job in Surveying. However, it is not always an easy task when dealing with scans of a whole area containing also vegetation, cars, road signs, buildings, etc. 3DReshaper brings an automatic solution to extract the ground out of a point cloud.
Interface: 2014 MR1 version

This video shows how you can generate a AVI video file and thus create an animation of your 3D models. Create, extract or import a polyline which is used as the camera path. Select targets for the virtual camera orientation. A simple, useful and attractive way to communicate your data.
Interface: 7.1 version

Script for pavement inspection
Script for polyline extraction
Script for automatic rail extraction

In addition to the "Surface Analysis" module available in the Surveying plug-in (several tools to analyse slope, flatness or planeity), here is a free script to answer a particular need. This method allows you to control a pavement according to the "Rolling Straightedge" method. The goal is to check the smoothness of the road.
Interface: 2016 MR1 version

Line detection on a cloud collected with a Leica Pegasus:Backpack. Just click a seed point to start the automatic line detection. The script written in Javascprit uses some 3DReshaper basic features to compute a 3D polyline.
Interface: 2016 version

This script, written in Javascript, calls some 3DReshaper functions to load point clouds, compute best planes, best lines, etc. in order to create some polylines representating the rails and the catenaries.
