3DReshaper® has been developed to process
with point clouds in the field of architecture
and cultural heritage preservation
.

3D cultural heritage

The Belfort Lion, sculpted by Bartholdi (who also sculpted the Statue of Liberty in New-York). Digitization done with a Leica scanner and reshaped by 3DReshaper.

3D heritage texturing

Texturing: several pictures have been applied onto a South Korean vase.

3D facades

Best shape and breaking line extraction, sections along a curve on a facade.

Through the numerous features of 3DReshaper, you can inventory works, reconstruct damaged surfaces, analyze the evolution of a model in time and export your files into simulation or CAD-CAM software in order to reconstruct your models identically.

Below, here are some functions available in 3DReshaper that enable the 3D digital reproduction and analysis of artefacts and archaeological sites:

In the architectural domain, 3DReshaper will be very handy to extract plans, circles, cylinders, according to the least squares methods, which will allow you to obtain exact measurement data.
You can also align your axis and change your coordinate system or measure distances between two points.

The feature line module enables you to promptly extract the breaking lines or sharp edges with the possibility to reconstruct the sharp edge.
Each created polyline or curve (sections e.g.) can be exported in CAD formats including AutoCad.

The best ways to test 3DReshaper: just download it on our website for a free one-month trial of the complete version.
