The qualities of a car are not only defined by the technologies, the functionalities or its price, but also by its beauty. This can be characterized by the general aspect, the harmony of the curves and the light reflection on the car body.
Among manufacturers, the radii running along the doors or on the body sides are often called the style lines as they are only designed to give a particular style to a car.
To ensure the design and therefore the esthetics of the car, it is important to control the potential deviations, between the line designed in the theoretical model or CAD and the "as built" line after the manufacturing process (e.g. after the sheet metal stamping).
Through a specific interface, Reshaper enables you to inspect this style line, or more generally, to make the connection surfaces analysis, whatever it is: straight or bended, with a constant width or not, constant of variable radius.
You can easily analyze the curvature radii and flushing distance using color mapping, labels or inspection reports and check if necessary the uncertainty calculation level.
