Dear User, First, on behalf of Technodigit, I would like to wish you all the best for 2012. To begin this New Year which will be rich of new features in 3DReshaper, the 64 bit version is "officially" released. This version, available for free download for those who are under warranty or maintenance or simply eager to try out the 3D scanner software performance, will enable you to take full advantage of your 64 bit computer. This will result in greater ease of processing tens or even hundreds of millions points. If you want to know all the new functions and improvements included in each release (beta or not), please refer to the download page or check out the 3DReshaper forum, dedicated to sharing experience, tips and technical information. At last, I am glad to announce that we have signed a "Contributing Partner" agreement with CyArk, the American-based non-profit organization with the mission of digitally preserving cultural heritage sites. This year, CyArk has formally launched The 500 Challenge, the challenge to digitally preserve 500 of the most important world heritage sites over a 5 year time period. We hope 3DReshaper will contribute to achieving this ambitious goal. Best regards, Nicolas Landrivon |

Only the pyramids and the main edifices were meshed and textured from the point cloud color (golden objects have a normal representation). The 3DReshaper 64 bit version can more easily handle the 2GO point cloud. |
