Effective smoothing!
Dear User,
Smoothing is a feature that can be important in improving or correcting possible mesh defects (removing noise measurement, self-intersection...) for aesthetic reasons or for quality of the model output.
The smoothing function, which has been enriched with new commands, is available on the release version 5.3 and enables you to:
- Control the level of smoothing over all or part of a meshed model.
On all or part of a 3D object, you can manage the intensity and level of the deformation from smoothing, modify or not the triangles by the curvatures (reorganization) or add new points if the mesh has a small number of facets. The combination of one or two techniques gives good results.
- Replace a specific part by a smoothed meshing.
This new function allows you to automatically remove and replace a portion of an unsastisfying mesh by a new one, smoothed and fitted with the 3D model shape.

3DReshaper does not offer solution for face smoothing (here the one of Queen Nefertiti); but computes the deformation of the meshing to create the best smoothed shape according to your needs.
