3DReshaper® 5.3 reduces 3D meshes by preserving their accuracy!

Dear All,

3DReshaper continually increases its performance by providing new improvements and features. In the beta version 5.3, we offer you some new functions which meet your needs in cultural heritage, medical or dental applications, digital terrain modelling or 3D display.

- Mesh reduction
This function enables you to significantly reduce the number of triangles (up to 95%) that form the 3D mesh, while keeping the sharp angles. The reduction simplifies the original model according to a 3D deviation error parameter that you can set up.

- Display of curvatures on mesh
This function shows the different types of curvature on a mesh (Gaussian, maximum, etc.). From this representation mode, similar to an inspection, you can modify the colours and display the values of these curvatures (see the opposite image).

- New import and export files formats
The 3DReshaper 5.3 version supports new file formats (import and export). Click here to see the list.
