I am really pleased to present you the latest features developed in 3DReshaper® Application:

  • Circularity (roundness) computation for 3D control and inspection purposes. This new feature is compliant with the current metrological standards and enables to determine if the circle (as built) tolerance fits to a theoretical tolerance (see opposite picture)
  • Scale computation on Best Fit: this option is mainly useful to compute the shrinkage of a molded part after cooling

Circularity (roundness) computation consists in finding the difference in radii between the biggest internal circle and the smallest external circle, both circles are concentric and coplanar.
